Z-Rock debuted nationwide on September 1, 1986 on the Satellite Music Network, part of the ABC Radio Network, out of Dallas, Texas. The first affiliate was 106.7 FM WZRC (Z-Rock 106.7) in Chicago, IL. 106.7 FM KRQR Chico, CA is considered the last Z-Rock station.

Z-Rock was officially discontinued on December 31, 1996. This site is here to keep the memory alive.
